Belle Maxi Dress - Hunter Green

Hunter green from strap to hem, the Belle Maxi Dress is a tulle dress with a lot of skirt and no interest in being subtle.

The neckline is cut square and ties closed at the front, held by thin elasticised straps that carry a ruffle along the edge. A cut out sits at the front of the bust, and below it the waistband is shirred and elasticised so it gives where it needs to. The skirt is where the volume lives: tiered ruffles of tulle that drop one over the next all the way down to maxi length. A side invisible zip keeps the seam clean, and the dress comes lined.

Try it where there is room to move, at a party, an evening that runs late, a floor you intend to stand on rather than sit at. The skirt already fills the frame, so keep the rest spare: a heel, small earrings, hair off the shoulders and nothing more.
